Birth - Second Grade
Hope Kids partners with God and families to make disciples by meeting children where they are and building meaningful relationships. We help children grow in their understanding of God, His Word, and their faith in Jesus. Additionally, we provide opportunities for them to discover and develop their gifts, encouraging them to care for others and share the love of Jesus with those around them.
Kids from birth through Second Grade will be dismissed to Hope Kids from the worship gathering after the Sunday music and prayer time for lessons in "The Gospel Project" from Lifeway.
Nursery 0-48 Months
The Nursery room is a welcoming place. Our volunteers are equipped and happy to help your little ones have fun and stay safe while you can attend the service upstairs. Diaper bags are welcome; we'll be attentive to special instructions such as diapering preferences.
Big classroom Pre-k - 2nd Grade
Children 4 years of age through 2nd grade are welcome to participate in music, games, Bible teaching, and age-appropriate and fun crafts. Fun is an essential element in our ministry. We believe children are more engaged and feel safe when they are having fun, and at Hope Kids, we love seeing smiles and laughter as we learn about God and His love for us!
Things to Know
Registration: To provide a safe environment for your children while in our care, we ask all first-time parents and guardians to fill out a Kids Registration Form. Information such as contact information, allergies, or other special instructions you may have will help us connect with your child and provide a nurturing environment for them.
Sign In/Out: We ask that children be signed in by a parent/guardian each week before service starts. Children are dismissed to the kids' church after the opening music. Parents/guardians are to drop off children downstairs at the gate, and once service ends, pick up their child at the gate. Having a smooth transition into the children's programming is vital to providing a safe and fun environment for everyone.
Safety: All children's ministry volunteers and teachers have had a background check. Our sick policy helps to provide a healthy and safe environment. Because of food allergies, we do not allow food in the classroom. Children may bring a water bottle. Parents/guardians are asked to keep their cell phones on vibrate during the service in case they need to be contacted by one of our volunteer teachers.
